Do you ever wish you could be in two places at the same time? Managing social media, influencer and PR for indie games, I know I wish sometimes that I could split myself into two at the tap of a button – and in Schrodinger’s Cat Burglar, you can do precisely that!
Control Mittens the cat in this new adaptation of the classic puzzle heist format. In the game, the player becomes part of a quantum experiment, granting you the ability to exist simultaneously in multiple quantum superstates. These superpositions obey Heisenberg’s Uncertainly Principle – when observed, Mittens’ quantum twin could be anywhere allowing stranger and stranger-still abilities as the adventure plays out:

🚓 Avoid security detection (you can’t see what doesn’t exist).
💼 Transfer items between cats (if one cat’s holding it, that means the other is too).

Acorn Games is working closely with Abandoned Sheep to help develop a unique social media strategy for the game. Our focus at this early stage has been to raise awareness for the game via key impression platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. We’ve also had some strong coverage from influencers and press around digital showcases such as the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase and the very first Frosty Games Fest, celebrating games made here in Australia. Physical events are also helping provide perspective and we’ve been able to gain valuable feedback from the Queensland Games Festival, which we hope to action ahead of PAX Australia in October.
