Acorn has a strong history of proven successes with point and click adventure games, something we’ve carefully developed over the years. We are pleased to be continuing this tradition with one of our latest clients, Theropods.
Theropods is a point and click adventure game that combines puzzles with a cinematic story, colourful characters and a retro aesthetic. Oh, and lots of dinosaurs! Travel back to the time when dinosaurs ruled the world and (a little less further back) when adventure games ruled the gaming world! Immerse yourself in a vast, prehistoric world full of dinosaurs, constructed with love, PIXEL BY PIXEL.
Point & click games have been a clear niche of ours since 2018, as demonstrated by our work on games such as LUNA The Shadow Dust, Whispers in the West, The Longing, Growbot, Mutropolis and more.
Theropods is a game we have followed with delight as fans for a number of years. The main focus of our work will be driving attention to the developer's regular gamedev streams via clips on social media. We want to keep the community updated and show the development taking place - something easily forgotten when deep in the mines of game development yourself! Our light social media activities will also help court the attention of potential publishers.
Here, we’ve aimed to be flexible. Not requiring a full social media campaign at this time, the team behind Theropods was eager to find a cost-effective solution for ongoing visibility, and this is exactly what we’ve been able to produce here. We pride ourselves on scalability, something that’s heavily in demand with the current state of the games industry.
